Stoyanka Mutafova is Mrs Lady of the Year 2019

The annual business achievement awards “Mrs Lady of the Year” 2019 were presented for the eleventh time. This is not just another beauty contest, nor a competition. The idea of the Annual Awards is to honour those women of today, famous or not so famous, who build their own name themselves and are proud of it. They give courage to others and, above all, they symbolise everything that the lady of today stands for. That is why the idea is for them to receive well-deserved recognition for having built their own name in society. More than 150 ladies were candidates to be placed in 27 categories, but the jury decided to honour only 10 of them, who were recognised in the various categories for 2019: “Health and Beauty”; “Awakeners - In the Name of the Child”; “Mining and Construction”; “Social Project”; “Justice”; “Loyal Partner”; “Media and Journalism”; “Foreign Partner”. In the “Culture and Art” category the award went to Stoyanka Mutafova, the oldest working actress in the world. She also presented her autobiography “Good Evening, My Century”. The award was presented by Niki Sotirov, who called the honour “sacred”. An honorary plaque at the ceremony was received by Maria Grubeshlieva - Muki, as the most talented and devoted daughter.
