The “Diabetes Patrol” keeps watch over the people of Plovdiv

With the active support of Lions Club “Eurydice”, Lions Club “Plovdiv”, Plovdiv Municipality and Plovdiv Cycling Community, on 6 July the city of the hills, the oldest living city in Europe and the sixth in the world - Plovdiv - welcomed the Diabetes Patrol and joined the “Bulgaria Against Diabetes” project of Lions Club “Vidin”.

At Tsentralen Square, free blood sugar tests were offered to Plovdiv residents and foreign visitors to the city. Everyone who was tested received information materials about diabetes and cold water, provided by Bachkovo spring water.
